Thalley La trek in the foot hills of great Karakoram is one of the most popular short trek in Baltistan region which meander through Khaplu and Shiger Valleys. These Valleys are very popular for fruit orchards and lush green beauty full of alpine flowers during the summer. The trekking trails runs along the glacial streams and shepherd herds and flower filled pastures. Shiger and Khaplu are also base for climbing peaks of central Karakorum peaks. This is an easy trek for any one interested in exploring the life of highlanders of Baltistan.
